I was lucky enough to witness this magnificent sunset a few nights ago overlooking Brighton Beach. Taken from a property in Belair soon to be on the market... stay tuned.
Needless to say it had the best views, with windows to utilize this marvelous sight from almost every room in the house. How beautiful to have such an outlook every night and then be given the twinkling of lights across the suburbs as they turn on. Such gorgeousness. Love my job. This home has the most remarkable views from upstairs of the Hallett Cove coast and therefore we had come to show off the beautiful sunsets you would discover from these upstairs living areas. However, unfortunately the evening was extremely overcast and looked particularly dire from the point of view of a photographer there to get a fabulous multicoloured seaside sunset. Fortunately though I was there in time for some amazing magic the evening had in store. The clouds opened for a brief moment and let the sun shine through onto the sparkling ocean creating a stunning effect from the upstairs windows. It lasted only a few minutes but that was enough to do a quick whip around from each room and get the shots required. You do not get much luckier than that on an evening threatening to be extremely disappointing. For sale with Ray White http://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-sa-hallett+cove-117043559 The market is still very active even as we enter into the colder weather. Here are a few properties we have recently photographed which have their own charm and different practical aspects. This home is relatively new and is within walking distance to Marion shopping centre. With a small, easy to maintain yard this could easily accommodate a small family or couple. Close to Brighton beach too. On sale with Ray White. To have a closer look: http://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-sa-seacombe+gardens-116616379 Very cute home in Belair with the most gorgeous outlook off the balcony and out your main living area. I was quite disappointed that we missed out on getting the opportunity to photograph a beautiful sunset with this one. I am sure on a less drizzly day, it would be spectacular to sit on the balcony and watch the sun go down at this home. http://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-sa-prospect-116244735 Recently we have photographed quite a few Units around Adelaide and thought we should share some. For those of you interested in something a little smaller. They are all on the market now and I will share the links for each below. Beautifully decorated 2 Bedroom unit at number 78/3 Noblet Street, Findon SA. On the market with Jenny Watson from Century 21 Mastacorp. http://www.realestate.com.au/property-unit-sa-findon-116195735 Two bedroom Unit in Greenacres also on the market with Jenny Watson from Century 21 Mastacorp. http://www.realestate.com.au/property-unit-sa-greenacres-116223779 Ground level unit at 2/3 Rosella St, Payneham, ready to just move on in. on the market with James Smith from Ray White Blackwood. http://www.realestate.com.au/property-unit-sa-payneham-116181611 Recently I had another great experience photographing three of Retire Australia's Retirement Villages in the suburbs of Adelaide. These included the Torrens Grove Retirement Village, the Magill Retirement Village and the Wisteria Grove Retirement Villages. Such beautiful gardens surround each village, especially at this time of year. I was definitely spoilt for choice when it came to photographing around the village grounds. Another big thank you goes out to the residents, especially at Torrens Grove and Wisteria Grove for happily posing and being patient with the photographer. It always makes it extra special to have some happy retired folk popping into shot or just willing to carry on playing cards, billiards or chatting in the background. Will pop up links once the photos are on their website. However if you want to have a look at some of the villages available here's a link:
http://www.retireaustralia.com.au Check out this home in Eden Hills we recently photographed for Ray White Blackwood. Now on the market and going to auction, with its original 70's light fittings that Ikea would be jealous of. Not to mention the furniture and curtains. I love it!
Want to have a look: http://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-sa-eden+hills-115198499, pretty sure its open this weekend too, Too Fantastic. Once in a while magic happens and this shoot was one of those times. Photographing properties at twilight or dusk you never quite know what the weather fairies are going to throw at you. There is always an element of surprise; whether it be a nice one as in this case or a not so nice one - when the skies decide to open up and bucket down.. But during this shoot I was lucky enough that when it did begin to rain, it was not quite enough to get soaked, yet enough, for when the sun did stream gently out for a few moments that a rainbow did appear right behind the home I was photographing. Wow, what fantastic timing. And the rain continued to stay away for the rest of the shoot too. I really just could not believe my luck. It really was a Magical Moment. If you want to check out this property, it is for sale by Ray White Blackwood and has magnificent views of the city: 14 Lind Ave, Belair. http://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-sa-belair-114916019 This weeks photo shoot was a little more unusual than usual. We photographed a residential elevator in Underdale, SA for Next Level Elevators. An extremely classy elevator indeed, so if you are in the market for a rather swish elevator for your home or business check them out. Anyone looking for a home that's steeped in history and in the heart of Blackwood. Well, we photographed this one recently and it is up for sale with Ray White Blackwood.
