I was lucky enough to witness this magnificent sunset a few nights ago overlooking Brighton Beach. Taken from a property in Belair soon to be on the market... stay tuned.
Needless to say it had the best views, with windows to utilize this marvelous sight from almost every room in the house. How beautiful to have such an outlook every night and then be given the twinkling of lights across the suburbs as they turn on. Such gorgeousness. Love my job. Recently photographed in St Peters, this wonderful old Adelaide home is in need of someone to come in and freshen it up. With some fantastic original features including beautiful lead-light windows, tessellated tiles on entry, ornate ceilings and functioning fireplaces in every room. It is a place you could bring in your own style and modern twist while highlighting the gorgeous existing features creating many interesting focal and talking pieces. ![]() The market is still very active even as we enter into the colder weather. Here are a few properties we have recently photographed which have their own charm and different practical aspects. This home is relatively new and is within walking distance to Marion shopping centre. With a small, easy to maintain yard this could easily accommodate a small family or couple. Close to Brighton beach too. On sale with Ray White. I was quite disappointed that we missed out on getting the opportunity to photograph a beautiful sunset with this one. I am sure on a less drizzly day, it would be spectacular to sit on the balcony and watch the sun go down at this home. Check it out at: http://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-sa-belair-116670895 ![]() Beautifully maintained townhouse in Wattle Street, Fullarton. A rental property that is now for sale in one of the most beautiful streets in Adelaide. Opposite the Wattle Street Pop Up market that was on this weekend. If you need to downsize or looking to enter the market into one of the most lovely spots in Adelaide then you should check it out. ![]() This circa 1910 railway cottage was a joy to photograph. Situated centrally in Blackwood, it is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. It has some lovely stained glass windows steeped in Adelaide history, gorgeous jarrah floorboards and fireplaces. So many wonderful aspects to focus on, I was spoiled for choice for angles and beautiful shots. I love it when I get given such a property to photograph. So if anyone is looking for a place they can just move into with nothing to do, with original charm, check it out. http://raywhiteblackwood.com.au/sa/blackwood/1064678/ If you want to see a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFbRFUh_BBw. Recently I had another great experience photographing three of Retire Australia's Retirement Villages in the suburbs of Adelaide. These included the Torrens Grove Retirement Village, the Magill Retirement Village and the Wisteria Grove Retirement Villages. Such beautiful gardens surround each village, especially at this time of year. I was definitely spoilt for choice when it came to photographing around the village grounds. Another big thank you goes out to the residents, especially at Torrens Grove and Wisteria Grove for happily posing and being patient with the photographer. It always makes it extra special to have some happy retired folk popping into shot or just willing to carry on playing cards, billiards or chatting in the background. Will pop up links once the photos are on their website. However if you want to have a look at some of the villages available here's a link:

Photographing properties at twilight or dusk you never quite know what the weather fairies are going to throw at you. There is always an element of surprise; whether it be a nice one as in this case or a not so nice one - when the skies decide to open up and bucket down.. But during this shoot I was lucky enough that when it did begin to rain, it was not quite enough to get soaked, yet enough, for when the sun did stream gently out for a few moments that a rainbow did appear right behind the home I was photographing. Wow, what fantastic timing. And the rain continued to stay away for the rest of the shoot too. I really just could not believe my luck. It really was a Magical Moment. If you want to check out this property, it is for sale by Ray White Blackwood and has magnificent views of the city: 14 Lind Ave, Belair. http://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-sa-belair-114916019 ![]() Recently we had the opportunity of photographing Kennards Self Storage Facility at Klemzig, Adelaide SA. This huge facility has been redesigned and renovated by CIC Builders using the bright colours of the Kennards Logo. It is massive and a great, secure place if you are looking to store your property. They have done a great job with the building converting it from the old Cash Converters and it certainly made for an interesting commercial photographic shoot. ![]() Anyone looking for a home that's steeped in history and in the heart of Blackwood.
