 With spring here and the birds all being silly with the sun shining gloriously, people are enthusiastically coming out and looking at new houses to buy. Which is great because we get to photograph beautiful places like this one in Blackwood. So let's hope the sun stays out so you can see this beautiful home in all its' glory.  I was lucky enough to witness this magnificent sunset a few nights ago overlooking Brighton Beach. Taken from a property in Belair soon to be on the market... stay tuned.
Needless to say it had the best views, with windows to utilize this marvelous sight from almost every room in the house. How beautiful to have such an outlook every night and then be given the twinkling of lights across the suburbs as they turn on. Such gorgeousness. Love my job. Situated centrally in Blackwood, it is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside. It has some lovely stained glass windows steeped in Adelaide history, gorgeous jarrah floorboards and fireplaces. So many wonderful aspects to focus on, I was spoiled for choice for angles and beautiful shots. I love it when I get given such a property to photograph. With flowers placed strategically adding bursts of colour here and there, the photographer did not even need to make adjustments. Although a little bit of work and tidying was going on last minute behind the scenes, you would not be able to tell. We wish them all the best selling this lovely home in Brightview Ave, Blackwood. Once in a while magic happens and this shoot was one of those times. Photographing properties at twilight or dusk you never quite know what the weather fairies are going to throw at you. There is always an element of surprise; whether it be a nice one as in this case or a not so nice one - when the skies decide to open up and bucket down.. But during this shoot I was lucky enough that when it did begin to rain, it was not quite enough to get soaked, yet enough, for when the sun did stream gently out for a few moments that a rainbow did appear right behind the home I was photographing. Wow, what fantastic timing. And the rain continued to stay away for the rest of the shoot too. I really just could not believe my luck. It really was a Magical Moment.
